Luc Lafnet (1899 – 1939) was a Belgian artpainter and graficus. He was educated at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Liege and studied with Adrien de Witte, Evariste Carpentier, J. Ubaghs, Emile Berchmans and François Maréchal. Lafnet’s is mostly mentioned as painter for religious subjects and landscapes, but he illustrated many erotic artworks for books, for his fetish related work be sure to check out my other site.
also did the artwork for mainstream comics such as the popular Belgian magazine Le Journal de Spirou. He signed his advertising work with names like Lucan and Lafcat, his comics with Davine.
In 1939, the artist was sent into war where he died the same year, aged 40.
